WHO WE ARE

Growing Place Family Preschool was founded in early 2015 by a group of early childhood educators, parents of young children, and community members in a truly collaborative effort to create a nurturing environment for children and families, a space where teachers can thrive in their work with children, and to build a program that provides the best quality early childhood experience for young children.

From the moment we sat down in February 2015 to map out our journey, a small team worked tirelessly to make Growing Place a reality.

From acquiring our non-profit status, to maneuvering the licensing process, to sourcing furniture and materials, to painting walls and assembling classrooms 

6 months later in August of 2015, we opened our doors to ___ 48 children and families.

Today we continue our focus on the highest quality early childhood experience for children and support for families
